Tanning Prep and Aftercare
BEFORE
+ Exfoliate with a gentle body wash (like Cetaphil) and a washcloth/exfoliating mitt at least 4 hours prior to your appointment
+ No bar soap or oil-based products prior to or after your tan
+ Shave several hours prior to your appointment using a disposable razor without moisture strips to prevent streaking
+ Do not put on lotion or perfume; Makeup can be removed at the salon
+ Waxing, massages, and mani & pedis should be done prior to your tan
+ Wait at least 2 weeks after laser hair removal and microneedling treatments to tan
+ Sign our tanning waiver before your first visit
AFTER
+ Wear loose dark clothes and sandals or slip on shoes. NO TENNIS SHOES.
+ No denim, leggings, or tight fitting clothing should be worn immediately after you tan
+ Rinse off bronzer at the time your tan artist recommends
+ Original tans are fully developed after your rinse. Express tans take up to 24 hours to fully develop.
+ Use an oil-free lotion twice daily after the initial 24 hours post spray tan
+ Avoid Dove type products that can strip your tan
+ No exfoliating until you’re ready to remove your tan
