What should I wear?

Loose, dark clothing. Flip flops or Uggs — no sneakers with socks, no bra, and nothing tight to the skin directly after your appointment.

What should I do before my appointment?

Exfoliate with a washcloth and Cetaphil or CeraVe (no oily scrubs, bar soap, or Dove), shave with a minimal-moisture-strip razor and no shaving cream, and arrive lotion-free — makeup and deodorant can come off at your appointment. See our Pre-Tan Prep guide for the full routine.

Can I get a spray tan if I'm pregnant?

Yes. We spray the face and abdomen of pregnant clients. We use professional-grade extraction units, nose plugs, and masks.

Can I use retinol, acids, or vitamin C around my tan?

Accepted Answer

No — they exfoliate and fade your tan fast, especially on the face. Pause retinol, acids, and vitamin C a few days before and for as long as you want the tan to last.

When can I get laser hair removal?

Leave about 2 weeks on either side — wait ~2 weeks after laser before tanning, and stop tanning ~2 weeks before a laser session.

Can I work out or swim after my tan?

Skip workouts for 4 hours before, and don't sweat before your first rinse. After that, heavy sweat, pools, saltwater, and hot tubs all fade it faster.

How long does a spray tan last?

About 7–10 days with good prep and aftercare. Moisturize daily and use our self-tanning-infused Travel Lotion, Body Wash, Face Serum, or Mousse to extend it.

Can I get my tan wet before the first rinse?

Accepted Answer

No — keep skin fully dry until your rinse time. Any water before then causes spots and streaks.
