Before there were studios or a team, it was me, my spray tan bags, and a bus or train across Chicago. If you've ever wondered how Glowout came to be, I'd love to share.

Chicago's Original Golden Girl
When I moved to Chicago, I had no contacts or connections. I built Glowout one spray at a time.
In 2007, I was taking the bus and the train across the city to tan people in their homes, offices, and hotels. Basically anywhere they'd let me. That was the beginning of Glowout.
I didn't have social media to build a following or the training resources artists have now. I had to figure it out. Appointment by appointment, I developed my own technique. So much of what I teach today started there, with a real person in front of me and another chance to get better at something I loved.
Since then, I've tanned celebrities and trained hundreds of spray tan artists. Those are things the girl hauling her equipment onto the train would have loved to know were coming. I'm proud of them. And I'm just as proud to read the reviews you leave about our team and the way you feel when you come see us.
Somewhere along the way, my little business became our Glowout. Today, we're a team. We get to know you, blend your color, hear what you're getting ready for, and welcome you back. I started this on my own, but I haven't built what it is today on my own. Our team has put so much of themselves into it, and I love them for that.
We've been part of your lives in South Carolina for over a decade, and you've become such a big part of ours. We've built a home there together, through our team and the clients who keep coming back. Chicago is where we began, but South Carolina is every bit as much Glowout. To our team there: I hope you know how much that means to me.
To everyone who opened a door for me in those early days, and everyone who has walked through ours since: thank you. Every time you book again, send a friend, or leave us a kind review, you help us keep doing this work we love. I still think about those trips across Chicago. I don't take any of this for granted.
